Surveillance Awareness

Surveillance—whether conducted by criminals, hostile actors, or foreign adversaries—is often the first step in planning an attack or targeted action. Before any high-value target is exploited, watched, or struck, hostile surveillance is usually carried out to gather information, identify vulnerabilities, and plan the best time and method of attack.

Unfortunately, most individuals and organizations fail to recognize the early signs of surveillance activity. This lack of awareness creates a dangerous window of opportunity for attackers, allowing them to observe freely, plan undetected, and strike when defenses are lowest.

Surveillance awareness training provides individuals with the ability to detect, recognize, and understand pre-attack behaviors—turning passive observation into active early warning. By learning to recognize indicators of surveillance, people can disrupt hostile plans, protect critical assets, and reduce the likelihood of surprise.

Surveillance awareness is not just a skill; it’s a force multiplier that enhances security posture across military, law enforcement, corporate, and civilian environments.
